Pterferno is a Fire Type Ember Starter Meta Monster. It transforms into Dactraft at Level , and then into Pteroscorch at Level . It, along with Frilleaf and Hissea, is one of the three starters of Meta Monsters for the Isshagure region.

Physiology[]
Pterferno is a small orange reptilian creature. It has two thin ovoid eyes and a yellow beak. It has a yellow belly and yellow wing membranes. It has one claw on each wing, and each of its feet has three toes. Pterferno sports a red band around the crest on the back of its head. It also has a red band on each wing. Pterferno has a large tail that tapers at the end. The tip of the tail has a small yellow flame.

Pterferno's wing are a little too small for it to fly, so it moves around by gliding from the tops of trees.
Behavior[]
Pterfernos enjoy creating campfires to help other Meta Monsters that are lost.
Habitat[]
Pterferno lives on the sides of mountains, at high altitude.
