The Red-Weed is a Being that appears in Nightfall: Cryptic. It appears in Saguaro County and can be viewed at any time of the day. It is a strange looking red plant-like alien being that slowly crawls along the desert. At night, it gives off a slight purplish glow. If Vic is near it, he will be slowly drained of energy, and if he touches it it will drain faster. The Red-Weed is an interpretation of the Red Weed from The War of the Worlds.
