TLO Universe is a 3D action-adventure platform game to be co-developed by Toshiko Games, LegendGames Entertainment, and Outsider Entertainment and will serve as a proper crossover between the three. The game features 75 playable characters.
TLO Universe is a 3D action-adventure platform game that allows all players to play as 75 playable characters from the Toshiko, LegendGames, and Outsider. Up to two players can play at one time, though not as the same character. With two players on hand, they can cooperatively play the game together, or against each other in a variety of arenas to choose from, each having its own appearance, and obstacles within it.
Characters each have a primary attack, and a secondary attack. They gain experience points by defeating monsters, and leveling up will result in the possibility of getting upgrades. Each character has its own special abilities that differ from each other. This provides some replayability, as each character faces the world in different ways. Each character has its own set of attacks, which can be upgraded through a branching attack tree with two different paths.
The story revolves around an unknown entity, seemingly related to Bankatsu no Akuma and The Great Mighty Spiral, who has been observing the various worlds throughout the TLO Multiverse over the years. Watching as each hero defeats their respective villains, each new villain exacts their revenge on the heroes, looking into the future, where most heroes are now raising their families, or greeting their grandchildren and descendants, and even sneaks a peek at collaborative endeavors, such as the formation of the V-Rangers, the entity observes from the shadows of every corner.
However, this entity isn't satisified with the way events have transpired, nor does it appreciate the defeat of Bankatsu no Akuma and The Great Mighty Spiral. Utilizing powers stolen from Daisuke Jikoku, the entity seeks to rewrite the history of the TLO Multiverse, and revive its two cohorts in order to rebuild the multiverse to its own liking.
However, the omnipotent Dylan Holmes, and his allies T.E.D. and Frank Johnson, learn of this entity through a vision, and seek assistance in gathering the TLO Multiverse's greatest heroes, and villains, in order to stop this entity and keep the TLO timeline intact.
The game will most likely have several DLC packs that contain alternate costumes and alternate attacks for certain characters.
- The game's concept was originally inspired by Activision's Skylanders series and Disney's Disney Infinity series, utilizing toys that come to life in-game.
