Nightfall 3: Ghosts of Pasts is an action-adventure game developed by Outsider Entertainment and designed by Isaac Tessman. It stars The Phantom, as well as a series of other villains and heroes of the Nightfall Franchise.
Plot[]
Two years after the Event of Nightfall 2, man and demon have been fighting a secret war across the nation, in order to stop Hell from taking over Earth. Meanwhile, the DSR has been rebuilding itself after being nearly completely wiped out by Blaine Marcius. Gabe Landis comes into contact with his father, who is now the leader of the DSR. Gabe's closest allies join the DSR and create a task force to help hunt down demons across the nation. These demons have been locked up in a high-security underground prison aptly dubbed "Hell's Hell".
However, another threat arises. Blaine Marcius, having survived the events of Divided we Fall, vows revenge on the DSR. Being mortally wounded, he is unable to do so himself, so he tacks down all of Gabe Landis' past enemies that have came so close to defeating him before, but have been defeated. Wanting revenge on him as well, they beleive they can take him down if they put their abilities together. They set off to Hell's Hell to infilitrate the building and find Gabe's weaknesses, unaware of what the building actually serves as. After breaking in successfully, the prisoners break out of their cells and start a riot. The prison goes on lockdown, and all of the characters are locked inside with the rioting demons, with very little chance of making it out alive.
Gameplay[]
Nightfall 3 is very similar gameplay-wise to the other games. However, multiple all-new playable characters are introducedm each with unique stats and abilities. These characters are The Phantom, Great White, Silkworm, Joyful Twins, Floodlight, Malpractice, Benjamin Ethal, Gabe Landis, Vic Wolfe, Threnody, Charlie Kiel, Garrett Bishop, Elliot Taylor, and Jackie Johaennson. Gameplay is very fast paced, and you find youself constnatly switching through characters to solve the occasional puzzle.
